Terms of Service

These terms describe the Speaking Reps service and your responsibilities when purchasing or using it. Contact Alan Yeung at hello@speakingreps.com with questions.
Eligibility and lawful use
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and use the service lawfully. You must have permission to share everything in your submissions, including any material belonging to an employer or another person. Do not submit illegal, infringing, restricted, or unauthorized content, or confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information you are not authorized to disclose.
Your sprint
The 5-Rep Speaking Confidence Sprint costs $99 USD as a one-time purchase through Stripe. It includes five human reviews of 3–10 minute recordings. Submit all five recordings within 60 days of purchase. A rep counts once Speaking Reps begins reviewing an accessible submission. You may practice the same presentation across all five reps or submit different speaking situations. This is not a subscription.
Share your recording link by email and make sure Alan can access it. The 48-hour feedback window begins when Alan receives an accessible recording link. Feedback is delivered in writing by email. A recording submitted within the 60-day period remains eligible for its review even if the feedback arrives afterward.
Feedback and availability
Alan personally reviews founding customer submissions. Feedback reflects a human reviewer’s judgment and is educational speaking feedback. It is not medical care, therapy, or treatment for anxiety. We do not guarantee improved confidence, reduced nervousness, particular speaking results, or career or business outcomes.
This is a founder-led service. If an unexpected interruption affects delivery, we will communicate with you promptly about timing and a resolution. This does not remove the stated service commitments or your rights under applicable law.
Your content
You retain ownership of your recordings and other submitted content. You give Speaking Reps only the limited permission needed to access and review that content, prepare feedback, and compare your reps while providing the service. This does not authorize publication or promotional use. Any use in marketing or testimonials requires your explicit permission. See our Privacy Policy for information handling and deletion requests.
Refunds
If your first review does not leave you with clear, actionable things to work on for your next rep, email hello@speakingreps.com for a full $99 refund. To use the first-review guarantee, request the refund before submitting your second rep. Other refunds are not automatic, except where required by law. See the Refund Policy for details.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Speaking Reps is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, and its total liability for claims relating to a sprint is limited to the amount you paid for that sprint. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and disputes
Updated terms will apply to future purchases. Changes will not reduce the service or refund rights for a sprint you already purchased without your agreement. Please contact us first to try to resolve concerns. Applicable law and legally available courts determine your rights and any dispute; these terms do not impose a particular state’s law, exclusive forum, or arbitration requirement.
